How many times have you looked at those lovely silicone molds and thought to yourself, “what do I do with this?
I have no idea how to use it! “ Do you see beautiful artwork with other people using molds and resin and wondered how you could create same type of artwork? Are you intimidated by the thought of using resin?
Well, this is the class for you! Join Shelley Schubert as she returns to teaching in “Resin Magic”, a beginner friendly class that will show you how to pour resin and get the most out of your silicone molds. Shelley will walk you through the best type of resin to use for quick curing (so you can get right to working on your project!), the in and outs of using resin, how to prepare your pieces for painting and putting on your projects, and much more! And, you will do a resin pour with Shelley while participants are working on their projects!

Note: Due to the time factor, the class project resins will be pre-poured so they can be completed in class.
Shelley will also talk about paint, waxes and inks to complete your beautiful masterpiece.
You will be completing an 8 x 8 wood canvas in class. So whether you want to make embellishments for your scrapbook pages or create a large masterpiece, come join us for the fun!

*Items needed to bring to class:
-Latex Gloves (or other protective gloves if you are allergic to latex)
-Spatula
-Paintbrushes… 1 small (around ½ inch), 1 medium (about 1 inch)
-Splat Mat or craft mat
-Finnabair Art Basics Heavy Body Gel
-Misting Water Bottle
